Factors Affecting Speaking-Rate Adaptation in Task-Oriented Dialogs
Dialog systems should be able to automatically determine an appropriate speaking rate for each utterance. In a small corpus of billing support dialogs we identified factors accounting for 18% of the variation in agent speaking rate.
